DELUSION (Slowed)

What this is

DELUSION (Slowed) by Slixshøt & NXTLAST, the Slowed version as it appears on TikTok.

The title and artist above are the ones TikTok stored for this sound, and the link goes to that sound on TikTok. We have not matched them to a music catalogue, so we publish no release date and no catalogue identifier, and we do not claim this is the same recording as any particular release. TikTok labels this sound as the Slowed version; a different version of the same song is a different sound with its own page.

What we measured

In the 300 most recent public TikTok videos we reviewed on 16 August 2026, we counted 102 different accounts and 4,779,984 combined views at the time we looked.

These figures describe that one dated sample, not the sound's total use. We do not know from a single sample whether use of this sound is rising or falling, and we do not say that it is.

Creative direction

Focus on high-speed transitions and beat-syncing. Keep it under 15 seconds.

Looks like a fit for: Football and anime editors

• Do: Sync your first visual cut to the 0:02 mark
• Do: Use high-contrast text overlays for player stats or character names
• Do: Use fast-cut transitions (zoom/shake) on the bass hits
• Do: Keep the video under 15 seconds for maximum loopability
• Avoid: Don't use slow, static shots; the track requires high energy
• Avoid: Don't bury the beat drop with voiceover audio
• Avoid: Don't use the sound for long-form storytelling; keep it punchy

Suggestions our AI drew from the videos it reviewed. They are ideas, not rules, and we make no claim about which will perform better.
