Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: February 2026

v1.0
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what is and isn't allowed on TrackBounty. It applies to all users — Creators, Clients, and anyone accessing the platform. It supplements the Platform Terms of Service.

1. Overview

TrackBounty is a professional platform for connecting music industry Clients with TikTok Creators. We expect all users to act honestly, respectfully, and in good faith. This policy exists to protect the integrity of the platform and the interests of all users.

Violations of this AUP may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban, depending on severity.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, submit, or share content that:

  • Is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or harmful.
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code.
  • Promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination against any individual or group.
  • Contains personal information of others without their consent (doxxing).
  • Is deceptive or misleading (including fake reviews, testimonials, or endorsements).
  • Violates TikTok's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.

3. Prohibited Activity

You may not:

  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent bans, restrictions, or limits.
  • Impersonate another person, company, or entity.
  • Harass, bully, or threaten other users through any channel.
  • Spam other users with unsolicited messages, invitations, or promotions.
  • Discriminate against Creators or Clients based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Use the platform for money laundering or any other financial crime.
  • Recruit users off-platform to circumvent TrackBounty's tracking and fee structure.

4. Fraud & Manipulation

Fraud undermines the trust that makes TrackBounty work. The following are strictly prohibited:

For Creators

  • Using bots, view-buying services, or artificial engagement to inflate metrics.
  • Participating in engagement pods or view-exchange groups.
  • Registering TikTok accounts you do not own.
  • Submitting content created by someone else as your own.
  • Submitting the same video to multiple campaigns without permission.
  • Manipulating verification processes.

For Clients

  • Creating campaigns with no intention to pay Creators.
  • Retroactively changing payment terms after submissions are received.
  • Systematically rejecting valid submissions to avoid payment.
  • Providing music or sounds you do not have the rights to use.
  • Using Creator data for purposes outside the platform (see Client Agreement).

For All Users

  • Creating fake accounts or profiles.
  • Providing false information during registration or verification.
  • Colluding with other users to manipulate campaign outcomes.

5. Security

You may not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or network connected to TrackBounty.
  • Test the vulnerability of our systems without written authorisation.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the performance of the Service.
  • Transmit any worms, viruses, or destructive code.
  • Bypass any security measures, rate limits, or access controls.

If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to trackbountymusic@gmail.com.

6. API & Bot Usage

If you interact with TrackBounty through our Discord bot or any future API:

  • Respect rate limits and do not send excessive automated requests.
  • Do not attempt to scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data.
  • Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Do not create automated tools that interact with the platform without authorisation.
  • Do not use the bot to spam Discord channels or users.

7. Reporting Violations

If you see activity that violates this AUP, please report it:

  • Email: trackbountymusic@gmail.com
  • Include as much detail as possible: usernames, screenshots, timestamps, and a description of the violation.

We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Reports are treated confidentially — we will not reveal the identity of the reporter to the reported user.

8. Enforcement

Violations of this AUP are handled based on severity and frequency:

  • Minor first offence: Warning via email with explanation of the violation.
  • Repeated minor offences: Temporary account suspension (7-30 days).
  • Serious violation: Immediate account suspension pending investigation.
  • Critical violation (fraud, security breach, illegal activity): Permanent ban. Pending payments may be forfeited. We may report the activity to relevant authorities.

We reserve the right to take any enforcement action at our sole discretion. You may appeal an enforcement action by contacting trackbountymusic@gmail.com within 14 days.
