What this is

DON'T BELIEVE IT by john summit & ABSOLUTELY.

The title and artist above are the ones TikTok stored for this sound, and the link goes to that sound on TikTok. We have not matched them to a music catalogue, so we publish no release date and no catalogue identifier, and we do not claim this is the same recording as any particular release.

What we measured

In the 300 most recent public TikTok videos we reviewed on 6 August 2026, we counted 224 different accounts and 42,921,201 combined views at the time we looked.

These figures describe that one dated sample, not the sound's total use. We do not know from a single sample whether use of this sound is rising or falling, and we do not say that it is.

Creative direction

Keep it high energy. Use the drop for a transition or a big reveal.

Looks like a fit for: Rave-goers, festival enthusiasts, and summer travel vloggers

• Do: Sync your hardest transition to the beat drop at 0:14
• Do: Use a POV text overlay about a 'core memory' or 'night out'
• Do: Include high-quality crowd or travel footage
• Do: Tag the artist to get featured in fan-edit compilations
• Avoid: Don't use the track for slow, static content; it needs movement
• Avoid: Don't bury the vocal hook; it's the most recognizable part
• Avoid: Don't use low-light, blurry footage that lacks 'vibe'

Suggestions our AI drew from the videos it reviewed. They are ideas, not rules, and we make no claim about which will perform better.
