EXTINCTIO - SLOWED & REVERBED

What this is

EXTINCTIO - SLOWED & REVERBED by DJ Zarek & neoverss, the Slowed version as it appears on TikTok.

The title and artist above are the ones TikTok stored for this sound, and the link goes to that sound on TikTok. We have not matched them to a music catalogue, so we publish no release date and no catalogue identifier, and we do not claim this is the same recording as any particular release. TikTok labels this sound as the Slowed version; a different version of the same song is a different sound with its own page.

What we measured

In the 28 most recent public TikTok videos we reviewed on 1 August 2026, we counted 26 different accounts and 1,589,202 combined views at the time we looked.

One account, @maskara077, accounted for about 82.2% of the views in that sample, so the total is not spread evenly.

These figures describe that one dated sample, not the sound's total use. We do not know from a single sample whether use of this sound is rising or falling, and we do not say that it is.

• Do: Cut to the beat drop at the 0:05 mark
• Do: Use high-quality 1080p/4k source footage
• Do: Add a 'shake' or 'flash' effect on the transition
• Do: Include a text overlay with the character's name
• Avoid: Don't use low-resolution or blurry source clips
• Avoid: Don't let the audio play for more than 15 seconds without a visual change
• Avoid: Don't use generic 'like and follow' text overlays

Suggestions our AI drew from the videos it reviewed. They are ideas, not rules, and we make no claim about which will perform better.
