What this is

Inside Horror Background Videos by Ratu Digital Sound.

The title and artist above are the ones TikTok stored for this sound, and the link goes to that sound on TikTok. We have not matched them to a music catalogue, so we publish no release date and no catalogue identifier, and we do not claim this is the same recording as any particular release.

What we measured

In the 30 most recent public TikTok videos we reviewed on 8 September 2026, we counted 24 different accounts and 145,989 combined views at the time we looked.

One account, @the_dead_letter, accounted for about 59.3% of the views in that sample, so the total is not spread evenly.

These figures describe that one dated sample, not the sound's total use. We do not know from a single sample whether use of this sound is rising or falling, and we do not say that it is.

Creative direction

Use the sound to build tension for a short, punchy horror reveal or book trailer.

Looks like a fit for: Horror enthusiasts, indie authors, and paranormal investigators

• Do: Use a 'hook' text overlay in the first 2 seconds.
• Do: Sync your jump scare or reveal to the loudest part of the audio.
• Do: Use high-contrast, dark lighting for your visuals.
• Do: Include a call to action in the caption (e.g., 'What would you do?').
• Avoid: Don't use the sound for lighthearted or comedic content; it kills the vibe.
• Avoid: Don't let the audio play for more than 20 seconds; keep it tight.
• Avoid: Don't use bright, over-saturated filters; keep the aesthetic moody.

Suggestions our AI drew from the videos it reviewed. They are ideas, not rules, and we make no claim about which will perform better.
