What this is

Marianne by Fontaines D.C..

The title and artist above are the ones TikTok stored for this sound, and the link goes to that sound on TikTok. We have not matched them to a music catalogue, so we publish no release date and no catalogue identifier, and we do not claim this is the same recording as any particular release.

What we measured

In the 300 most recent public TikTok videos we reviewed on 22 August 2026, we counted 289 different accounts and 3,672,640 combined views at the time we looked.

One account, @fontainesband, accounted for about 36.0% of the views in that sample, so the total is not spread evenly.

These figures describe that one dated sample, not the sound's total use. We do not know from a single sample whether use of this sound is rising or falling, and we do not say that it is.

Creative direction

Focus on the 'disappear' lyric—use it for a transition or a reveal.

Looks like a fit for: Film editors and indie music fans

• Do: Sync the beat drop at 0:12 with a visual transition
• Do: Use the 'I can help you disappear' lyric for a POV text overlay
• Do: Feature high-contrast, moody color grading
• Do: Include a call to action about the new album in the caption
• Avoid: Don't use generic, bright filters; keep it dark and moody
• Avoid: Don't talk over the lyrics; let the track breathe
• Avoid: Don't use the sound for high-energy dance trends; it kills the vibe

Suggestions our AI drew from the videos it reviewed. They are ideas, not rules, and we make no claim about which will perform better.
