What we measured

In the 300 most recent public TikTok videos we reviewed on 25 August 2026, we counted 286 different accounts and 34,687,205 combined views at the time we looked.

These figures describe that one dated sample, not the sound's total use. We do not know from a single sample whether use of this sound is rising or falling, and we do not say that it is.

Creative direction

Use the hook to transition between your favorite memories or show clips.

Looks like a fit for: Fan-edit creators and emotional storytellers

• Do: Sync the 'Thinking about you' lyric with a slow-motion zoom or transition.
• Do: Use a high-quality, clear clip of a character or person you are 'missing'.
• Do: Keep text overlays minimal and placed in the center-safe zone.
• Do: Use the first 15 seconds of the audio for maximum impact.
• Avoid: Don't use fast, chaotic cuts; the song is melancholic and needs space.
• Avoid: Don't use the audio for high-energy dance content; it kills the vibe.
• Avoid: Don't ignore the lyrics; the edit must match the 'longing' theme.

Suggestions our AI drew from the videos it reviewed. They are ideas, not rules, and we make no claim about which will perform better.
