What this is

perpetual by my head is empty.

The title and artist above are the ones TikTok stored for this sound, and the link goes to that sound on TikTok. We have not matched them to a music catalogue, so we publish no release date and no catalogue identifier, and we do not claim this is the same recording as any particular release.

What we measured

In the 300 most recent public TikTok videos we reviewed on 8 August 2026, we counted 258 different accounts and 47,842,151 combined views at the time we looked.

One account, @sushyglowcosmetics, accounted for about 35.1% of the views in that sample, so the total is not spread evenly.

These figures describe that one dated sample, not the sound's total use. We do not know from a single sample whether use of this sound is rising or falling, and we do not say that it is.

Creative direction

Keep it raw. No heavy editing. Just you and a thought you've been holding in.

Looks like a fit for: Gen Z creators who post raw, unfiltered life updates.

• Do: Use a simple face cam shot
• Do: Place text overlay in the center
• Do: Sync your transition to the first beat drop
• Do: Keep the video under 15 seconds
• Avoid: Don't use heavy filters
• Avoid: Don't over-edit the audio
• Avoid: Don't use clickbait titles that don't match the vibe

Suggestions our AI drew from the videos it reviewed. They are ideas, not rules, and we make no claim about which will perform better.
