What this is

skateboard p by pen.

The title and artist above are the ones TikTok stored for this sound, and the link goes to that sound on TikTok. We have not matched them to a music catalogue, so we publish no release date and no catalogue identifier, and we do not claim this is the same recording as any particular release.

What we measured

In the 300 most recent public TikTok videos we reviewed on 22 August 2026, we counted 299 different accounts and 7,211,003 combined views at the time we looked.

One account, @tatemcrae, accounted for about 48.5% of the views in that sample, so the total is not spread evenly.

These figures describe that one dated sample, not the sound's total use. We do not know from a single sample whether use of this sound is rising or falling, and we do not say that it is.

Creative direction

Keep it fast, keep it raw. Use the beat to transition between your best looks.

Looks like a fit for: Fashion-forward creators and streetwear enthusiasts

• Do: Sync your final outfit reveal to the 'chain on skateboard' lyric
• Do: Use a fast-cut transition style for your fit check
• Do: Include a text overlay with your outfit's vibe or brand
• Do: Film in a raw, casual setting like a bedroom or street corner
• Avoid: Don't use slow, cinematic pans; keep the energy high and cuts sharp
• Avoid: Don't use the sound for long-form talking heads; keep it under 8s
• Avoid: Don't over-produce the lighting; keep the aesthetic casual and authentic
