The One That You Call

What this is

The One That You Call by Mackenzy Mackay.

The title and artist above are the ones TikTok stored for this sound, and the link goes to that sound on TikTok. We have not matched them to a music catalogue, so we publish no release date and no catalogue identifier, and we do not claim this is the same recording as any particular release.

What we measured

In the 300 most recent public TikTok videos we reviewed on 17 August 2026, we counted 219 different accounts and 4,061,432 combined views at the time we looked.

One account, @mackenzy.mackay, accounted for about 75.9% of the views in that sample, so the total is not spread evenly.

These figures describe that one dated sample, not the sound's total use. We do not know from a single sample whether use of this sound is rising or falling, and we do not say that it is.

Creative direction

Use the hook to show your 'person' or your favorite fictional ship.

Looks like a fit for: Couples, fandom editors, and romantic creators

• Do: Sync your first visual cut to the 0:05 mark
• Do: Use text overlay: 'POV: You found the one you'd call'
• Do: Include a 'send this to your person' CTA in the caption
• Do: Use the chorus for the most emotional part of your edit
• Avoid: Don't use the intro for edits; jump straight to the vocal hook
• Avoid: Don't use generic stock footage; keep it personal or high-quality fandom clips
• Avoid: Don't ignore the romantic theme; keep the vibe intimate

Suggestions our AI drew from the videos it reviewed. They are ideas, not rules, and we make no claim about which will perform better.
